Sumac Ridge Closed

On April 14, 2023, we announced the closure of Sumac Ridge Estate Winery for both retail and winemaking operations. This was a tough decision but one that makes sense for the iconic Okanagan brand.

While we are saddened to announce the closure, we are happy to announce that Sumac Ridge, Steller’s Jay and Black Sage brands will remain active in retail and on-premise accounts across Western Canada and through the Great Estates Okanagan website. Winemaking and retail sales have been shifted to our state-of-the-art facility in Oliver and there will be no disruption in product availability.

For over 40 years, Sumac Ridge has welcomed locals, visitors and tourists to the estate, and proudly served as a hub for visitors to the region. We sincerely thank everyone who helped make the estate a special destination over that time.
