Tasting Notes
Lots of ripe jammy red and black fruits on the nose, with hints of baking spice and aromas of toasty oak. On the palate flavours of preserved dark fruits and spicy notes, with rich undertones of vanilla and mocha. This Malbec has smooth supple tannins and a perfectly balanced acidity with a medium length on the finish.
Production Notes
The grapes were harvested in October sent immediately to the winery where they were de-stemmed and crushed. The juice was pumped with skins into the red fermentors where it was fermented to dryness at a maximum temperature of 30 ̊C. After undergoing a secondary malo-lactic fermentation, the finished wine was aged in French and American oak barrels for 12 months before being bottled.
