Tasting Notes
It has notes of blackberry, raspberry, and a subtle touch of dark cherry and mocha/vanilla. The toasty oak can also be noted.
Production Notes
The grapes for this blend were brought in to the winery and vinified separately, with each lot crushed immediately before beginning fermentation on their skins for about 10 to 14 days. Once fermentation was complete the grapes were pressed and the wine was sent to be aged in a blend of French and American oak for 4 months before the final blend was created. The final blend is comprised of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Shiraz.
Food Pairing Notes
It goes well with grilled steak, smoked brisket, pulled pork, and duck breast.

The fruit taste blended in the Oak barrrels very satisfying.

Love the fruit aroma in this red. Medium body and sweet berry aroma. Raspberry on the nose and cherry in the mouth.
