Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Intensely fruity and floral, this wine exhibits notes of lemon, ginger, and white peach on the nose with lemon custard and spice on the round, medium bodied finish.
Vineyard Notes
Although 2017 brought some unusual weather for the Okanagan, expect another stunning vintage from Inniskillin. On a regular harvest fruit tends to come in one varietal at a time; due to the hot, dry summer it was all hands on deck for Winemaker Derek Kontkanen as multiple varietals ripened at once. The summer heat brought with it a more intense flavour profile for our whites with a nice acid backbone. For reds, you can expect more supple, juicy and red-fruit driven flavours.
Winemaker Notes
A true expression of Okanagan Pinot Grigio. This blend was put together through countless blending trials from our own vineyards in the South Okanagan. The fruit was brought in over multiple days in September where some was fermented in stainless steel tank, and some on oak to achieve a nice complexity between citrus fruit and spice
