Tasting Notes
The Audacity of Thomas. G. Bright is an ode to a place where explorers and mavericks have been
defying the odds for generations. When our founder challenged the era’s accepted wisdom and
grew some of Europe’s most prestigious grapes right here in Canada, dissenters deemed his
strategy too risky – impossible even – but today, we continue the legacy he forged in 1874.
Winemaker Notes
Our Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot was harvested at peak ripeness from the Okanagan Valley. The
wine went through malolactic fermentation and was then aged for 14 months with a select blend of
French and American oak. It was then finished and influenced with whisky barrels to add a distinct
aroma and flavour. With luscious aromas of dark cherries, vanilla spice, and mocha undertones, the
palate has pleasantly intense flavours of dark fruits, vanilla and baking spices, with a long finish.
Food Pairing Notes
This wine is ideal with braised lamb shanks with rosemary, pasta Bolognese,
and slightly charred barbecued beef. Try it with medium cheeses like cheddar.

Absolutley wonderful! All the different flavours you experience with this wine. I bet you can't just stop with a glass. Everyone that has tried it has ended up with buying a bottle. Love it, great job!

Great aromas and very full bodied, great flavours and mellow. The only wines better I’ve had were double the price!
